Every one of these snacks showed up on my feed enough times that I cracked. We bought all twelve at full retail, nobody sent us anything, and we ate them in one sitting like responsible adults. Three are genuinely great. Five are famous for being famous.
The ones actually worth buying
The Dubai-style chocolate bar deserves the noise. The pistachio and crispy kataifi filling gives you a texture you cannot get from a normal bar, and the good ones use real pistachio paste rather than green-tinted sugar. Read the ingredients: if pistachio is not in the first three, put it back.
The strawberry mochi from the freezer aisle is the best value on this list. Cold, chewy, actually tastes like strawberry.
The ones that are fine
Four snacks landed in the shrug zone: pleasant, forgettable, priced like an event. Nothing wrong with any of them, but you would not go back.

The freeze-dried candy. It is a fun texture for about four pieces and then it is just sugar gravel that costs six dollars a bag.
Are the Dubai chocolate dupes any good?
The cheap ones use flavored filling instead of real pistachio and you can taste the difference immediately. Spend the extra two dollars or skip it.

They were the sweets we saw most often across social feeds over four weeks. We bought every one at regular retail price, so nothing here is a favor to a brand.
How we tested
Everything was bought at full price from ordinary shops, no press samples and no discount codes, because a review of a free snack is an advertisement wearing a costume. We tasted them over one afternoon, cleansing with plain crackers between each, and scored on three things: does it taste like the flavor on the label, is the texture doing something a normal snack cannot, and would we spend our own money on it a second time. That last question is the only one that really counts, and it is the reason five of these landed in the skip pile despite tasting perfectly pleasant. Prices ranged from two dollars to eleven, and cost mattered: a snack that is nice but triple the price of a nice supermarket equivalent is not a recommendation, it is a souvenir.
